Rapunzel Drama Script

SCRIPT:

Narrator: Once upon a time there were a man and a woman who in vain wished for a child. They had a little window at the back of their house from which a splendid garden could be seen. This garden was full of the most beautiful flowers and herbs. This garden was surrounded by a high wall, and no one dared to go into it because it belonged to a wicked witch  named  Dame Gothel.   One day the woman saw a plant called rampion, used to make salads.

Woman: My darling, I have a strong desire of a salad made from that plant. If I don’t eat it now, I know I will surely die.

Man: Very well, my dear, if you want it… you will have it.

Narrator: At midnight , the husband climbed the wall into the garden of the witch and started taking some rampion.

Man: Rampion, rampion, this is for my darling wife.

Narrator: The man took the rampion and his wife made a salad of it and ate it. It tasted so good to her, that the next day she ate three times as much as before. So her husband knew that he must once more go into the garden.

Man: Rampion, rampion, this is for my darling wife.

Narrator: When he had the rampion in his hands, he saw the terrible witch standing before him.

Dame Gothel: How do you dare, come into my garden and steal my rampion like a thief!   You will suffer for it!

Man: Oh, please forgive me!   My wife saw your rampion from the window, and she wanted it so bad, that she would have died if she didn’t have some to eat.

Dame Gothel: If you´re telling me the truth, I will let you take with you as much rampion as you want… only I make one condition…  you must give me the child which your wife will bring into the world; it shall be well treated, and I will care for it like a mother.

Narrator: The man in his terror consented to everything. When the baby was born, the witch appeared, gave the child the name of Rapunzel, and took it away with her.

Dame Gothel: Ha, ha, ha,ha

Narrator: Rapunzel grew into a beautiful child under the sun, she played in the woods and took very good care of her long hair

Rapunzel: (combing her hair) I like to comb my long beautiful hair.

Narrator: When she was twelve years old, the witch shut her into a tower in the middle of a forest. The tower had neither stairs nor door, but near the top was a little window. When the witch wanted to go in, she placed herself beneath it.

Dame Gothel: Rapunzel, Rapunzel! Let down your hair to me.

Rapunzel: Yes, let me unfasten my braided tresses so that you can climb up.

Narrator: After a year or two, the king’s son was walking in the forest when he heard a song, which was so charming that he stood still and listened.

Rapunzel: (singing) Du,du,du,la, la, la….

Prince: Oh. What a beautiful song! Who is singing so lovely?

Narrator: The lovely voice came from Rapunzel´s tower. The king’s son wanted to climb up to her, and looked for the door of the tower, but none was to be found.

Prince: Now what shall I do? There´s no way of climbing up. There are no stairs and no doors.

Narrator: He went back home, but the singing had touched his heart, that every day he went out into the forest and listened to it. One day he was standing behind a tree, when he saw the witch coming, and he heard what she said.

Dame Gothel: Rapunzel, Rapunzel! Let down your hair to me.

Narrator: Then Rapunzel let down the braids of her hair, and the witch climbed up to her.

Prince: So that’s the way I can climb to the tower! I will do the same.

Narrator: The next day when it began to grow dark, he went to the tower.

Prince: Rapunzel, Rapunzel, Let down your hair to me.

Narrator: Immediately the hair fell down and the king’s son climbed up.

Rapunzel: Oh… who are you?

Prince: Darling, my heart is yours. I have never seen anybody as beautiful as you. Will you marry me? Will you be my wife and live with me in my kingdom?

Rapunzel: Yes, I will. You´re young and handsome.

Prince: Then it is settled. We’ll get marry right away! Just let down your hair and let´s go.

Rapunzel: I will go away with you, but I do not know how to get down. If I get down my hair, then how will I get down?

Prince: You’re right! Hmmmmm

Rapunzel: You have to go now. The witch will come soon.

Prince: Yes, but don´t worry Rapunzel, I’ll think of something.

Narrator: When the king’s son was getting down, the witch was already there, and said.

Dame Gothel: Uhh, you have come to take Rapunzel! Now you will never see her again!  Ha,ha,ha,ha!

Narrator: The witch cast a spell on the prince and he wondered in the woods, without seeing a thing and eating only plants, roots, and berries. Meanwhile, in the tower.

Dame Gothel: Ah! you wicked child! I thought I separated you from the world, and yet you have deceived me!, and just for that I will cut your beautiful hair!

Narrator: In her anger the witch cut Rapunzel’s beautiful tresses. Then she took her into a desert where she had to live in great grief and misery. Meanwhile. the prince roamed about in misery for two years, and finally, he got to the desert where Rapunzel, with the twins to which she had given birth, a boy and a girl, lived in poverty.

Prince: That voice that I hear seems so familiar to me.

Narrator: He went towards it, and when he approached, Rapunzel said.

Rapunzel: Oh prince, I missed you so much! I am so happy to see you that I am crying.

Narrator: Two of her tears wetted his eyes and they grew clear again, and he could see with them as before.

Prince: I can see again! Oh my sweet Rapunzel, what have they done to us! Let’s now go to my kingdom.

Narrator: He took her to his kingdom where they were joyfully received, and they lived happily ever after.

My Holiday in Bali

When I was 2^nd grade of senior high school, my friends and I went to Bali. We were there for three days. I had many impressive experiences during the vacation.

First day, we visited Sanur Beach in the morning. We saw the beautiful sunrise together. It was a great scenery. Then, we checked in to the hotel. After prepared our selves, we went to Tanah Lot. We met so many other tourists there. They were not only domestic but also foreign tourists.

Second day, we enjoyed the day on Tanjung Benoa beach. We played so many water sports such as banana boat, jetsky, speedboat etc. We also went to Penyu island to see many unique animals. They were turtles, snakes, and sea birds. We were very happy. In the afternoon, we went to Kuta Beach to see the amazing sunset and enjoyed the beautiful wave.

The last day, we spent our time in Sangeh. We could enjoy the green and shady forest. There were so many monkies. They were so tame but sometimes they could be naughty. We could make a close interaction with them. After that, we went to Sukowati market for shopping. That was my lovely time. I bought some Bali T-Shirt and souvenirs.

In the evening, we had to check out from the hotel. We went back home bringing so many amazing memories of Bali.

My mother is a beautiful person. She is not tall but not short, and she has curly hair and brown. Her eyes color are like honey and her color skin color light brown, and she has a beautiful smile. Her weight likes 120 lbs.

She is a very kind person. She is very lovely, friendly, patient, and she loves to help people. I love my mom, because she is a good example to me. She loves being in the Church, and she loves sing and dance too.

She is a very good child, wife and mother. She always takes care of her family. She likes her house to be clean and organized. She a very organized person, and all things in the house are in the right place. She doesn’t like messes.

She always has a smile on her face. She is so sweet and lovely. I like when I am going to sleep or went I wake up or when I am going to go to some places, she always give me a kiss, and when the family have a problem she always be with us to helps us and to give us all her love.

A Poor Young Man Became a Prince

Once upon a time, there lived a poor young who had a handsome face named Sergei. He lived in a spring town.

One day Sergei saw a castle across from his home. He really wanted to be a prince. He thought if he could become a prince he would be a wise prince. But he knew, it was not possible. Because he was just a poor young man.

So the next day, he wanted to saw the castle closer. He walked from his home with doubt. And then there was a young man approached Sergei and said, “What would you do? Do you want to get into this palace?”. “Um..yes you are right! I really want to get into this castle!” Sergei answered. “Let’s get into the castle. I was a bellboy in this castle. The king and queen here is very kind, surely they received your coming.” said the young man. “O.K! Thank you!”

After that, Sergei was very impressed with the castle buildings. The castle was more magnificent when viewed up close. He walked and showed his admiration for the castle. Then a girl appeared with a beautiful dress. She had long glow golden hair. She looks very pretty and charming. And she definitely is the princess in this castle. The young man greeted her politely. “Good morning Princess Kate” said the young man. “Morning..” Princess Kate answered with a smile. “Who is he? Whether he is a new bellboy here?” asked the Princess Kate. She smiled at Sergei. “I’m just a poor young man who live across this castle, Princess” said Sergei. “Let’s go into the castle and breakfast with us” said the Princess.

Sergei was suprised because he saw many beautiful stuff here. He didn’t thought if he could get into this castle. He was very happy and proud. When they reached the dining room, Sergei saw the King Charles and Queen Diana. They smiled at Sergei and invited him to sit down and ate.

“You’re a nice person, Sergei. Thank you for coming to this castle, you can come back to the castle at any time” Said the king Charless. “Oh, thank you Sir. Thank you already invited me to breakfast together” Sergei answered. “One moment, you can marry my daughter, Kate. You are a suitable husband for her. You’ll be the wise prince” said the Queen Diana. Sergei saw Kate’s face blushed. Sergei left the palace.

Finally, Sergei and Kate married. All the people there are very happy because the Princess Kate was married. Now, Sergei no longer a poor young man. He was a wise prince. They are a happy couple☺
